2020 California 4-H Youth Summits | Workshop Proposals

Education Platform

The Youth Summit theme is "Ripples of Today, Waves of Tomorrow" with an education platform focused on advocacy.

Advocacy focuses on how individuals and groups can create public support for issues that matter to them. Think of how your workshop will educate about advocacy or teach skills to help youth advocate for causes important to them.

All workshop proposals should be focused on some aspect of advocacy.

Workshops should be engaging to youth through a mixture of instruction and hands-on learning experiences. Presenters can be 4-H youth, adult volunteers, and members of the community.

The California 4-H Youth Summits are proudly hosted by the California 4-H Management Board!  Summits are three day weekend leadership experiences geared for youth ages 11-13, planned by youth ages 14-18. Youth are invited to join us at any of the youth summit events as it is not required for them to attend the event hosted in their own area.
