2019-2020 Beginning 4-H for Volunteers in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties

 
Beginning 4-H FOR VOLUNTEERS

Required training for All New 4-H Volunteers.
Recommended for 4-H Volunteers or Parents and Adults with 5 or less years involvement in 4-H.
 
Prerequisite: You must be registered at 4hOnline and complete the eXtension courses before attending.
 
 
All Trainings 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Saturday, November 16 (Alameda County Office)
Saturday, December 14 (UCCE - Contra Costa)
Sunday, December 15 (Alameda County Office)
 
 
Livescan service will be available

Open to ALL adults. Those with 5 years or less experience in 4-H are encouraged to attend.

Topics will include: 

  • Welcome to 4-H
  • History of 4-H
  • Managing Groups
  • Youth-Adult Partnerships
  • Project 101
  • other useful tools
