Master Food Preserver Training Interest Form - Central Sierra

UCCE Central Sierra currently has two Master Food Preserver Programs, one in El Dorado County and the other in Amador/Calaveras counties. If you have a residence in one of these three counties, please fill out this form to be added to our mailing list for the next Master Food Preserver Training. Before our next training we will mail out a letter inviting interested people to an orientation meeting that explains the Master Food Preserver Program, the application, interview process, and training. At that time people who would like to apply will be given that option.

If you have residence in another county please see the Find a UC Master Food Preserver Program website to the nearest program. In most cases people train in the county where they live, but that is not always an option. Generally, the county you train in is the county you become a certified UCCE Master Food Preserver Volunteer in unless multiple counties share the training process. The UC aster Food Preserver program is growing statewide; contact your local UC Cooperative Extension Office to show your interest in starting a new program.

If you seek the training for your personal use, there is an on-line course offered by the National Center for Home Food Preservation at http://nchfp.uga.edu/. You may also attend any of our free public classes. Our class schedules are listed at http://ucanr.edu/csmfpclasses.
