Composting — Let Me Count the Ways

Come join us for a fun and informative presentation by UC Master Gardener/Composter Kevin Marini; he'll describe all the ways in which we can participate in composting.

Do you think there's only one way to compost?  There are numerous methods, from simple to intensive, and one is sure to work into your lifestyle.  Why let all those good scraps go to the garbage company?  Use them and choose the best composting method for your lifestyle and your garden.

About Our Garden

Our Garden is a public demonstration garden of the UC Master Gardener Program of Contra Costa County, located in Walnut Creek at the corner of North Wiget Lane and Shadelands Drive, just off Ygnacio Valley Road. From April through October, weekly speakers present a variety of information on edibles gardening and home gardening in general.

UC Master Gardeners of Contra Costa maintain the garden and interface with the general public. We encourage you to bring in your home and garden questions and talk with a UC Master Gardener at the Ask a Master Gardener Table (9 am to Noon)!
