Attracting Birds and Bees to Your Garden

Pollinators are important to any garden, and you can attract more by growing certain types and varieties of plants. Learn which ones are the most attractive to bees and birds.

About Our Garden

Our Garden is a public demonstration garden of the UC Master Gardener Program of Contra Costa County, located in Walnut Creek at the corner of North Wiget Lane and Shadelands Drive, just off Ygnacio Valley Road. From April through October, weekly speakers present a variety of information on edibles gardening and home gardening in general.

UC Master Gardeners of Contra Costa maintain the garden and interface with the general public. We encourage you to bring in your home and garden questions and talk with a UC Master Gardener at the Ask a Master Gardener Table (9 am to Noon)!
