4-H Citizenship Weekend

This is an overnight civic engagement event focused on service, history, and our government!
Who can attend
Open to enrolled 4-H members 12 years and older as of December 31, 2016.
Enrollment in a Citizenship project is NOT required to attend. We will be participating in various aspects of citizenship, including government, history and community service.
This event is hosted by the Bay Coast Area, but is open to qualified 4-H members from all Areas.
Activities may include:
- Mock Trial with a real, practicing lawyer
- Fun, group outdoor community service opportunity
- Citizenship workshops
Fee includes lodging for two nights and six meals
Payable to: California 4-H Management Board
$170 Early Bird through July 1, 2017
$185 July 2nd through August 15th, 2017
$200 August 16th, 2017 through September 14 - as space permits
Chaperones attend FREE - Each county sending delegates is requested to send at least one chaperone. Counties are to provide adult chaperones at the ratio of 1 chaperone per 8 delegates per gender. Counties may share chaperones.
*Note: tours and additional activities may have small incidental fees. Details will be included when session selection is sent to delegates.
