Cover crops can be grown during any season, and cool-season cover crops offer special advantages for both the garden’s soil and the gardener. Master Gardener Alice Schwegman will explain how a cover crop can improve your garden soil and protect it from pelting winter rains. Learn how a cover crop works to support soil health and how to select a cover crop, seed it, and cut it back to “grow” your soil.
