Explore ways that you can identify, attract and help birds in your garden and landscape with the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County. This free Public Education class will include tips and resources for identifying local birds including hawks and other raptors as well as specific landscaping strategies and appropriate plant choices for encouraging birds to visit your garden. Materials and methods for protecting your home garden fruits and vegetables from these hungry visitors will also be presented. Hand-outs will be provided. Classes are held in the Amador County GSA Building at 12200-B Airport Rd. in Jackson from 9am until Noon.
