Biography
Dr. Melvin George is UC Cooperative Extension Rangeland Management Specialist, Emeritus. He is a member of the Plant Sciences Department at UC Davis. Dr. George has been a UCCE Specialist since 1978. Prior to that he was on the faculty of College of Agriculture at Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo. Dr. George conducts extension education and research programs in grazing management, rangeland inventory and monitoring and water quality.
