Sad news…the passing of one of our dedicated volunteers, Bruce Desimone.
The celebration of Bruce Desimone's life will be held Saturday October 18th at 11am. The celebration will be held at ST. Elizabeth Seton Church located at 4595 Snyder Lane Rohnert Park CA 94928.
Bruce loved his sports and we would love for you to come to his service wearing your favorite teams gear!
If you are wishing to make any donations in his honor please give to Project Linus. This organization gives blankets to families in need. Giovanna's goal is make sure every police car in Rohnert Park has 2 blankets at all times.

North Central Sectional Skills Day
On November 8, 2014, North Central Sectional Skills Day will be held at the San Joaquin Robert J. Cabral Agriculture Center, 2101 East Earhart Avenue Suite 200, Stockton, CA 95206. There will be 5 sessions, at 30 minutes long throughout the day. There will also be fun life skill stations and primary member activities. List of the workshops and life skill stations and registration forms.
Check in will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the day will conclude at 3:00 p.m. If you pre-register by October 25th, there will be a $10 fee. Any time after that and same day registration will be $15. The fee will cover the day's events as well as a taco salad lunch.
The key note speaker, Lynette J. Ward, a past Diamond Star from Sacramento County will be talking about career consulting and her experiences with 4-H. She will also be running two workshops called Translating 4-H to Resumes and Interviews, and 4-H Actions + Results = Resume Builders. We will be having a community service drive for Transitional Learning Center for homeless children, so we ask that you bring school supplies for students from K – 6 grade. There will be an All-Star roundtable during the second workshop session to improve our county All-Star programs. We are inviting all past, present and future All-Stars that are available to attend the roundtables. Along with these sessions, we are also having fun learning sessions to learn things like smoothie making, dog obedience, dancing, sewing, and having fun with lego blocks.
