At the 8th Annual Berkeley Bioeconomy Conference on April 1 and 2, scientists from across the country will present research developments on biofuel, biotechnology, green chemistry and related subjects. They will also identify future research directions. The conference will be held at the UC Berkeley Alumni House.
The first day will be dedicated to analysis of past performance and future prospects of the biofuel sector as well as renewables beyond biofuel. The second day will focus on the use of forests for biofuel, a global perspective on the bioeconomy, and the economics of regulating biotechnology.
