On Thursday, August 20, Ophir 4-H Club was invited by the Gold Country Fairgrounds to display small animals and a photo board showcasing projects offered by Ophir 4-H Club at the Roseville Chamber of Commerce mixer. Attendees learned about joining 4-H and how to participate as an adult volunteer. The purpose behind the event was for all the chamber members within Placer County to learn about local organizations. The Ophir 4-H Club worked with Placer High FFA to create a unique display which many chamber members enjoyed. A big thank you to Gold Country Fairgrounds and Laurie Johnson for the invitation and opportunity! Ophir 4-H Club meets the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are held at Ophir Elementary School.
