Saturday April 30…CQ Set up day
I will be at the fairgrounds from 10-2 on CQ set up day. All ages are welcome to come to the Arts and Crafts booth, to make thank you cards for our CQ sponsors and to make decorations for the event. Looking for donations of fabric (old sheets) and fabric markers. Contact Judy at the 4-H office. Thank you!
Are there any teens/preteens out there that would like to help, either from 10-12 or 12-2?
Thank you!
Judy
Hello, We are currently planning one of the “fun” elements of the 2016 State Leader's Forum. That element being the Make-it-and-Take-it night.
As of right now, we are looking for 4-Hers and volunteers willing to travel to the Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa, gather supplies and facilitate a simple DIY craft.
I am open to any craft so long as it can be completed quickly and with minimal mess. Some ideas include, but are not limited to:
Glass Etching
Mason Jar Terrariums
Memory Wire Bangles or other Jewelry (earrings, etc.)
Macrame Plant Holders
Picture Frames of some sort
Recycled Crafts...
If you are interested, please email me at chickenangel1@att.net. I cannot wait to see what great ideas our members think up!
Thank You

At Piner we have monthly science community events we title STEM cafe and this month we have Nick Clark from Kings county to talk about his work with Fusarium resistant cotton- its one of our first agricultural cafes and a good wake up call that we could be networking a bit more in our own backyard !
Would you please advertise in your areas to get folks to sample our cafe and scope out what might serve us both well next year for a cafe topic ?
Start time is 7pm and the after cafe is where the great interactions occur - along with fun snacks from our culinary department.
Feel free to send along our flyer and hope I have captured the context of his work appropriately.
We appreciate any and all effort to help spread the word!
