The C-STEM (Computing, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Center @ UC Davis aimsto broaden participation of students, especially female and underrepresented minorities, in computing and to develop students' computer-aided problem-solving skills to tackle real-world STEM problems through integrated computing and STEM education.
C-STEM is a UC Approved Educational Preparation Program where participation in the C-STEM program, C-STEM student individual and team awards, and extracurricular activities are recognized in the UC admissions process as achievements that have explicitly prepared students for college and career.

- 6th Annual Conference on Integrated Computing and STEM Education: Bridging the Gap: Promoting Equity through C-STEM, will be held on Saturday, November 5th, 2016at the UC Davis Conference Center. Topics include: how to close the achievement gap in STEM education through the C-STEM program and how the C-STEM program has a lasting impact on their teaching and student learning. There will be two hands-on sessions for absolute beginners to get started using the C-STEM teaching resources on computing and robotics along with a session dedicated to integrating C-STEM in after school programs.
- C-STEM Two Day Academy on November 19-20, December 3-4, and December 10-11, 2016. This is a two-day professional development for STEM teachers and staff on how to use the C-STEM curriculum in their formal and informal program. ****this is a great opportunity to learn about coding and robotics!!!!********
