COUNTY-WIDE 4-H VEGETABLE PROJECT
by Dino Migliazzo, Lancers 4-H
There is a new opportunity for members to join a 4-H Gardening project. This year you can participate in a county-wide 4-H Gardening project. This can supplement a local 4-H club project or be the full project if you local club does not offer a garden project. This project will meet monthly starting in October and the sessions will be conducted by members of our UC Cooperative Extension sister program of Master Gardeners. This will be a great opportunity to learn a lot and have fun with plants and dirt! Come join the fun.
The first meeting for the county-wide vegetable project will be on Saturday, October 2nd beginning at 9:00 AM. The meeting will be at the garden of Mr. Richard Dodson (209-777-0798) at 2746 N. Clydesdale Ave., Atwater CA. To sign up contact your local club leader, the 4-H office, or attend the first meeting listed above.
