We are adding some new and familiar activities into a great new event for Merced County 4-H. There will be many activities all wrapped up into one FUN day.
- Food Fair –is open to all 4-Hers (including a Mini member category). Entries will be limited to one per division. This year there will be an option to display your entries and speak to the judges explaining how, what and why you choose to make your entries. Divisions are: Dairy Foods, Breads Quick or Yeast, Healthy Goodies and Traditional. If you have any questions please feel free to call Joslyn or Jill Campos at357-9106.
- Fashion Revue-Enter your Traditional, Purchased, Recycled, Embellished, $15 Challenge, or Special Cotton or Wool item(s) to be judged by our panel of experts. Then model your garment in our fashion show.
- Arts & Crafts Fun- Come join us and make an arts and craft project to take home do a community service project and make an Easter card for our local nursing homes.
- Home Arts Judging Contest- Looking for a place to show off those throw pillows and crafty candlesticks you made this year? Enter up to 5 items in any home arts area made since July 1, 2010. We will display your items and you get credit in your record book! You do not have to be currently enrolled in a home arts project to enter.
- Sewing Demonstration- Have fun sewing on our computerized sewing machine.
This is a great opportunity to take part in all that 4-H has to offer. There will also be Community Service projects to participate in.
