I am so glad to be a part of this wonderful program. The education and support we receive is fanastic. It makes me so proud to be able to reach out in the community and actually realise that I know what I am talking about through the wonderful training. Hope there will be more classes in various parts of the state. It is always a proud moment to know that the Statewide Co Ordinator was Fresno County's Pam Geisel.

As someone who works full time with volunteers and volunteer programs, I always site the Master Gardener program as the gold standard for recruitment, training, continuing education, record keeping, website, requirements of volunteers, recognition, and innovation---we're such a success because we hold one another to a high stardard of commitment and excellence. I am always so proud to wear that Fresno County MG badge!

That standard we share is important. It is what makes it possible for us to continue as a program when so many others within UC ANR are going "away". Keep up the good work!!!! Pam
