Recently, I was doing some reading, trying to catch up on a stack of Western Livestock Journals, and I came across an article reporting that Mark Lynas, an early activist who opposed genetically engineered food (commonly known as GM or GMO), has not only changed his mind, but he is now just as passionate about the environmental benefits of GM food. He also extols the tremendous importance of using GM foods as a tool to help feed the world's growing population. The original article can be accessed at the Western Livestock Journal's website, for those who suscribe to the weekly newsletter. But for those who do not, a similar article was printed on slate.com. See link below.
