Fuel Their Minds
Welcome
Fuel Their Minds provides opportunities for young children to explore nutrition and physical activity concepts in a fun and interactive way. Through the curriculum, children will make the connection between good nutrition, physical activity and a healthy body. This curriculum incorporates song, movement and reading into making the connection between food and health.
We use a literacy-based model that integrates age appropriate, visually stimulating storybooks that are central to the theme. All materials directly align with Desired Results Developmental Profiles (DRDP) for program integration.
Early childhood is a period of rapid growth and development. Researchers have reported the short-term benefits of early childhood education, including higher later academic achievement, school attendance, better social interactions, more appropriate class behavior and higher emotional
maturity. Nutrition education serves as an opportunity to teach children about food and healthy eating and physical activity habits early on.
