Vegetable Crops
Jose L. Aguiar, Vegetable Crops/Small Farms Advisor. He can be reached at 760/342-2467 or jlaguiar@ucdavis.edu. Supports commercial vegetable growers, handlers, and marketers. Supports the limited scale producers of the Coachella Valley by providing research based information. Supports Pest Control Advisors in the identification and control of diseases and insect pests.
Viticulture

Poultry Science
Douglas R. Kuney is the Area Poultry Advisor. He can be reached at 951/827-2099 or at drkuney@ucdavis.edu The goal of his program is to develop and extend educational and research programs designed to increase the productivity, efficiency and competitiveness of commercial poultry operations in Southern California to maximize the return of invested capital, while providing consumers with a plentiful and reasonably priced source of wholesome eggs and meat.
