Getting ready for Rice Field Day

The annual California Rice Field Day is coming up on Wed., Aug. 26, 2015 at the Rice Experiment Station (RES) in Biggs, California. This is one of my favorite field days:

• the station is impressive
• the fields tours are educational with up-to-date information
• it's a half day event 8:30-12 noon
• they offer a couple of CEUs for PCAs, QALs, QACs, and Private applicators certificate holders
• the event is free AND
• lunch is included--expect a rice dish or two.

This year, Kassim Al-Khatib is running the weed control research trials at the RES.
