Terms of Acceptance

I understand that if accepted into the UCCE San Bernardino County Master Gardener Training Program, I will become a certified Master Gardener only if I:

Attended all training classes

Completed a midterm (open book) and final (open book) exam with a minimum score of 70 percent

Presented a 15-minute overview of a horticulture practice or topic during the last two weeks of training (singularly or in a small group)

Additionally, I will complete and record a minimum of 50 UCCE sponsored volunteer service hours by June 30, 2017. I understand that this is an absolute requirement.

If accepted into the San Bernardino County Master Gardener program, I will pay a non-refundable training fee of $125 (includes text book and handouts).

I further understand that to remain a certified UCCE San Bernardino County Master Gardener each subsequent year, I must complete and report a minimum of 25 hours of UCCE approved volunteer service and 12 hours of approved continuing education. ✻
