UC Master Gardener Program of Alameda County Orientation Session Registration


Welcome to the Orientation Session Registration for the 2017-2018 Training Class of the UC Master Gardener Program of Alameda County. 

The 2017-2018 Training Program will be held at Hoover Elementary School, 890 Brockhurst St (near Market and 33rd St) in Oakland. For successful completion of the program, attendance at every class is mandatory.  Classes will be held on Saturdays from October 14, 2017 through March 10, 2018 (9:00am - 2:30pm) with five Saturdays off for holiday weekends.  A complete schedule will be provided at the Orientation Session.

Attendance at an Orientation Session is mandatory before you can apply to be admitted to the Training Program.  For 2017, we have five Orientation Sessions available.  We hope one of these is convenient for you.

  • Berkeley:  Tuesday, July 11, 5:30 - 7:00pm.  Berkeley Main Library, 2nd Floor - 2090 Kittredge St, Berkeley, CA 94704 (Near Downtown Berkeley BART)    This session is already completed.
  • Pleasanton:  Wednesday, July 12, 7:00 - 8:30pm.  Pleasanton Library - 400 Old Bernal Ave, Pleasanton, CA 94566   This session is already completed.
  • Oakland: Saturday, July 15, 10:30am - 12:00pm.  Oakland Public Library, Cesar E. Chavez Branch - 3301 E-12th Street, Suite 271
