Bats and Stars

Enjoy an evening of nocturnal adventures for all at Hopland REC!

We will begin the evening with the opportunity to meet live bats up close with Corky Quinn of Nor Cal Bats, an organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of bats.

As the last rays of sun filter from the sky we will head out into the field with wildlife biologists and bat experts, Rachael Long and Leila Harris, to try to listen for and see bats in the wild!

Once the night fully covers the heavens we will share the wonders of our solar system and beyond with local astronomers and enthusiasts.

Drinks and light snacks will be available throughout the evening.

We welcome families and all lovers of the nocturnal realm to this event!
