Mushroom Forage

 10am-12pm – Mushroom Foraging

Chuck Vaughn and Dave Bengston local naturalists and experts in the world of fungi will share their Mendocino County bounty describing where different fungi are found, which ones to try and others to avoid! A stroll through our madrone woodland will allow participants to see one of the key habitats for foraging. We will finish the morning off with the opportunity to taste mushroom appetizers before you make your way into town to enjoy lunch at one of Hopland’s great restaurants (I’m planning to work with local restaurants to offer a discount on lunch for participants of this foraging event)

Ticket price - $20

This event will be held at:

UC ANR Hopland Research & Extension Center - The Rod Shippey Building
