Planting and Growing Dahlias - Costanoa Commons March 2nd 2019

Do you admire those colorful dahlia blooms each fall?  To learn how you can select, plant, cultivate, and care for the many types of dahlias, join us at Costanoa Commons.
Bring garden gloves and a trowel to learn how to plant tubers.
The class will be outdoors, so dress appropriately and bring a camp or lawn chair to sit on.

Your instructor is Kristine Albrecht, a local dahlia grower and hybridizer. She will share her great  knowledge and experience with dahlia cultivation. In 2014 she won the best small bloom at the National Dahlia Society show as well as winning both the Derrill Hart Award and the Lynn P. Dudley award for her own cultivar, KA's Cloud.

You can see Kristine's dahlia blooms at the Monterey Bay Dahlia Show.
