To provide University financial transactional services to UC ANR Cooperative Extension County offices throughout California in the Business Operations Center.  This position will review purchasing, accounts payable, gift acceptance and cash collection documents received from the County CE Offices for UC and ANR policy compliance, accuracy and completeness.  The position is responsible for document processing steps from review of the documentation as submitted by the UCCE Office, entry into Kuali Financial System, and subsequent file management.  Processing an estimated 2000 documents monthly, this is considered a high-volume workload, requiring a high level of review and accuracy.  While the position interacts with UCCE County Directors, Office Managers, Advisors, and UC-paid and County-paid staff, there is also a considerable amount of communication with vendors and administrative units (e.g. Purchasing, Risk Management) within UC ANR and UC Davis. Act as back up to the front desk receptionist. This backup function will include the occasional half/full day but will mainly consist of support during the receptionist's meal breaks. Duties include greeting and directing visitors, directing calls, receiving orders/deliveries, issue keys and a few other miscellaneous administrative task.

Using a Business Partnership model, each (of 3) BOC Financial Services Teams will be comprised of an Account Manager and two processors.  The Team will support a portion of the over 50 UCCE offices in geographical locations throughout California.  As part of the Team, the processor’s role will be to process financial documents for each of their designated counties.   The estimated number of counties assigned to each Team will be approximately 15-20 (300+ accounts), and is dependent on location, complexity, and the number of employees within each County Office.
