Under the general supervision of the Food & Society Coordinator at the UC Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (SAREP), work primarily with UC SAREP and provide administrative coordination and programmatic leadership for agritourism activities for UC Agriculture and Natural Resources. Responsibilities include design and implementation of extension and outreach programming on topics related to diversification of agricultural operations through agritourism and direct marketing, fundraising to support these activities, administrative and programmatic support for other SAREP projects, participation in SAREP unit planning, and participation in appropriate UC ANR workgroups and conferences.

Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced public educational program professional to resolve a wide range of educational program issues and needs assessments. Develops new public educational programs, and works on complex public educational programs of diverse scope. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for delivering courses, presentations and development programs. Receives general instructions and exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for course and instructional improvement. Fully knowledgeable in course subject matter and program.

This position has a 50% variable Career Appointment

Salary - Min $21.46/hr. to Mid $32.28/hr.  Funding for this position is with soft funds.  Salary level contingent upon qualifications and experience.
