What? A 4-hour classroom-style hands-on workshop covering citrus airblast spray application effectiveness. The training will cover the use of decision support tools in making spray application decisions that optimize spray deposition and coverage as well as minimize pesticide drift. Specifically, participants will be trained to effectively use Airblast Spray Advisor and Airblast Spray Planner web apps to benefit their operations. This training will focus on axial airblast sprayer applications directed to citrus tree canopies; not herbicide boom sprayer applications.

Who Should Attend? Anyone directly involved with citrus airblast spray application operations, those who supervise applications, spray decision makers, orchard managers, grower/owners, and PCA's.

Registration? This training is open to the public, but registration is required. A $25 registration fee will go towards materials and meals (coffee and lunch).

Restrictions? There is a 25-seat limit for each workshop. Seats will be filled on a first-register-first-serve basis.

Continuing Education Units: 3.5 CEUs (‘Other’) has been approved by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR).
