Camp Details

The North Coast 4-H Camp is located at the Blue Slide Campground in Maple Creek, CA. The camp site is located roughly an hour away from Eureka, CA. Housing Amenities and meals will be provided for the Lifeguard position on the camp dates, 07/08/2024 - 07/11/2024. Youth will be swimming each day from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. The water source is the Mad River; Waterfront Certification required by the Lifeguard.

Position Details

Incumbents (camp counselors) organize, implement and conduct recreational programs, activities and services for a day or residential facility in a recreational establishment, or organized camp.

Incumbents provide instruction in contact sports, ball games, water sports, track and field activities, court games, seasonal sports, martial arts, arts and crafts, camping, hiking, nutrition, health and related nature and cultural studies, and may also perform in dramatic or musical events.

Incumbents perform general maintenance duties related to sanitation of camp grounds, cafeteria hygiene, cabin safety and of assigned equipment.

Pay Scale - By Agreement Rate: $140.00/daily
