How to Start a Revolution … One Friend at a Time.
Calling 50 4-Hers!! We need you!!
Join us at the Scotts Valley Senior Center at
370 Kings Village Road
Thursday May 3rd from 3-5pm
We will get together with 50 seniors to stuff 50 furry friends and fill them with love.
These stuffed friends will be graciously accepted by local first responders on behalf of the Santa Cruz County Children’s Services Department.
We will learn about children in distressing circumstances and how these stuffed animals will help comfort them in a time of need.
Scotts Valley Fire Department will be joining us and children will be able to meet fire fighters and see a real fire engine up close!
We are making a difference in a child’s life.
We would love for you to join us for this Community Service event.
This is also a County 4H event welcoming show-and-tell items made in 4-H projects during this year.
Please bring your 4-H projects to Spring Fair ready for transport. We will set them up for you in the SeniorCenter. Items may also be brought between 12:30 and 1:30 to the ScottsValleySeniorCenteron the day of event, May 3rd. Let’s make a big showing! Please also bring your flags, banners and posters showing what 4H is all about!
We will be filling the Senior Center and showing off our skills! Just think of all the record book points you’ll get!
Please Contact Katelyn. If you know a 4-Her whose grandma or grandpa would like to participate in the project with you, please include their name as well! Please put “Friends for Love count” in the subject line so we can keep count!
