It is only $15 per person for 9 movies, one each week. All theater information and times are shown on the order form attached. The deadline to send in your tickets is May 31st. If you would like the tickets mailed back to you, I will need a self addressed stamped envelope and your order on the early side so that you will have your tickets before the first movie on June 14th.
If you have any questions, you can call or text Shari Skaife at 707-978-9444 or you can email Shari@ShariSkaife.com.

FROM your I&R Committee:
ATTENTION Senior members! If you are thinking about submitting a record book this year that could go on to the state level, you MUST submit an "Intent to submit" form AND complete the online training through the state website BY JUNE 30TH. This is an earlier deadline than previous years, so please don't miss it! Follow the below instructions and you should be "good as gold"!
Eligibility for State Competition
If the criteria for eligibility are not met, a member's book will be disqualified from the competition.
- Age Eligibility: Senior 4-H members (at least 14 years of age and no older than 19 years old by December 31 of the program year for which the book is being entered) are eligible to enter state competition.
- Use of Correct Forms: Members who are planning to submit their Record Book to state competition must download and use the most current forms, found on this website. One way to be sure to do this is to always download the latest version of the Record Book Manual and forms from the state website.
- Intent to Submit: This form is a recent addition to the State 4-H Record Book Judging Process. Members who are planning to submit their Record Book to state competition must complete this form and submit it to their County Office by June 30, 2016.
- Quick Start Course: To be eligible for 2016 State Competition, members must complete the California 4-H Quick Start Record Book Course by June 30, 2016. The course must be completed each year. At the end of the course, follow the link to complete the quiz.

Ready 4 Record Books
Primary Members (those who have not yet turned 9 years old) – This year Sonoma County will be adopting the State Primary Record Book form. This form can be found at Record Book Training and Resources in the “Primary Member” section and is available in both Word and PDF formats. This is a simple form where even the youngest members can fill the blanks and answer the questions themselves. This helps our younger members develop a sense of accomplishment and express themselves!
All Primary Member record books should be turned into your club to be forwarded to the county for “judging”. This allows these members to receive recognition in the form of comments from the All Stars as well as recognition at Achievement Night.
Junior and Senior Members (those who are 9 years and older) - There are two ways that record books can be completed. Online or Written.
- Online Record Book or ORB. This is an online interface where members enter data through a series of screens and the online system formats the various forms that make up a record book like the Personal Development Report and the Annual Project Report. Access to the ORB and resources including tutorials can be found at 4-H Record Books.
NOTE: Senior competition at State. To be eligible for State Competition, members must complete the California 4-H Quick Start Record Book Course a fun, interactive video.
- "Paper" Record Book. The state website has two ways that forms can be completed offered – through Word or PDF version with form fields. The Word version allows for formatting changes while the PDF version does not. Both versions are embedded in the Record Book Manual which is found on the state website at Record Book Training and Resources in the “Paper Forms” section.
No matter which format a member chooses to use to complete his/her Record Book – the ORB or paper – the Record Book Manual is a valuable resource to walk you through the elements to be included in your Record Book. The county considers a minimum record book to include:
- Personal Development Report (PDR)
- Annual Project Report(s) (APR)
- 4-H Story
- Members are encouraged to add a Collection of Work and, for senior members, three final pages that include a project summary, leadership summary and community service summary.
Details on all these elements are in the Record Book Manual!
The county deadline for Record Books is August 23; however, each club will establish their own deadline. Record Books MAY NOT be sent directly to the county for judging but must first be judged by the members club. Please contact your Club Leader for the deadline established by your club!
Visit Record Books on the County site for links to Officer's requirements (received on a flash drive at Leader Training this past September).

The Sonoma County TRAVELING FAIR NEEDS YOU
(and your animals!)
July 3rd thru July 18th
The Traveling Fair is a preview of the Sonoma County Fair. The public will be invited to stop by and visit with 4-H exhibitors & their animals, get free popcorn and balloons, see the displays and spin the prize wheel to win free stuff. In addition to helping to publicize the Fair, this is a great opportunity to spread the word about your club, and tell your neighbors all about being an exhibitor at the Fair.
Each Traveling Fair lasts from 3 to 5 hours. We've got at least a 10x10 space reserved for 4-H and/or FFA at each spot. If there is more interest, we can get more space at almost every Traveling Fair. The Fair can provide pens at the Traveling Fairs marked with a *, if you have large animals. All other sites can accommodate only small animals or those not requiring pens (unless you can bring them yourself).
All participants (and that includes your parents, if they have to provide transportation!), will receive complimentary fair tickets as a thank-you. As an added bonus, I'd be happy to sign off on Community Service hours for those who need them. I hope to see you out on the road!
