This month Ms. Robbins SDC class was grooving to grains! My friends were excited to wiggle their fingers, move their arms, legs and body as we talked about whole grains vs. sometimes grains.
Of course the whole grains made us move really fast, because we had long lasting energy and that was the best! The 'sometimes' grains made us move really slow, because we did not have any energy.
Students also had a chance to try whole wheat bagels and rate the taste. Check out the results below:
Using UC CalFresh's 'We Try Healthy Foods' poster, students recorded what they thought about whole wheat bagels. All 7 students liked them!
