DAVIS--Science Watch (Thompson Reuters) has ranked the UC Davis Ag Sciences as the "most prolific in ag sciences" of all U.S. Institutions.
This covers 2005-2009. The tranking:
1. University of California, Davis
2. University of Florida
3. Cornell University
4. University of Wisconsin, Madison
5. Texas A&M UniversityThis means the UC Davis contributed the greatest number of papers to the field of agricultural sciences over the five-year period. This is based on each institution's percentage of the 112,239 papers published in Thomson Reuters-indexed agricultural sciences journals between 2005 and 2009.
