Here is the simple fact I have carefully observed in my own flower garden. Prior to this year, my garden was always full of beautiful butterflies, honey bees, bumble bees, solitary local bees, and many other pollinators. This year, the only thing present are these aggressive thugs who think they own my garden, and wasps. I haven't seen a single butterfly or friendly bee... Not one. Any other pollinator who dares to approach the flowers is immediately met with aggression from these unwanted bullies. In my opinion, these new comers are without a doubt affecting in a negative way the ecosystem in my garden. They are preventing friendly pollinators from finding food and shelter in the garden I have carefully designed specifically for pollinators and butterflies. I will most definitely try to eradicate the bullies.
