On November 7, 2014 a workshop will be held in UC Davis discussing what the U.S. Drought Monitor means for ranchers, how California's ranchers are coping with the drought, new feeding strategies for livestock in drought regions, and NOAA's weather forecast for the coming forage growing season. A webcast will be available in Kern and Tulare Counties where interested parties can attend and participate free of charge.
The location of the local webcasts here in Kern and Tulare Counties has not yet been finalized. Check back for updates or call Julie at 661-868-6219 for more information. You can also email her at jafinzel@ucanr.edu
