If anyone is interested in entering this competition, here is all of the information.
Hello everyone,
The California State Make it with Wool Competition is fast approaching! This contest seeks to promote sewing skills and the versatility of wool by providing both youth and adults the opportunity to model an outfit they have constructed, gain constructive feedback on their sewing, meet other sewing enthusiasts, and receive both awards and participation gifts! Outfits need to be constructed out of wool fabric or fiber. The California State Make it with Wool Competition will be held on November 14th at the Berger Auditorium in San Jose. Entries are due by October 18th. Please see the attached National contest flyer, the State FAQ handout, and the entry form for more information. Please note: If you choose to enter you will only need to fill out two copies of the entry form. California no longer has district competitions.
Please direct questions to either me or Robin Sando, the state director, (408) 612-8634 or Camiww6@gmail.com.
Please inform clubs, project leaders and members of this opportunity to improve their sewing knowledge and model their creations!
Thanks,
Emily Whiteley
