Processing wool isn't something many of us have had occasion to do! I have examined a lot of hairs for color patterns and cuticular scales so that I could identify them from predator scat or as forensic evidence, but as a commodity? Not my job!

Thanks for your comment Earle - it was indeed quite a process! It gives us the chance to use our own wool when working with school groups, we were certainly grateful to have Dana working on it!

Great to have you here, Dana! I'm excited about the work you've been doing to bring the Shippey Hall Museum improved interpretive displays!
