CHECK YOUR CALENDARS!!! The date for the 2011 Statewide Master Gardener Conference has changed slightly due to scheduling conflicts for the hotel. We are moving the conference to one week later. We will be meeting in Santa Rosa on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 through Friday, June 3, 2011. Please adjust your 2011 calendars accordingly. If you have suggestions for keynote speakers you would like to hear from, please send Pam or James an email with your ideas! (pmelam@ucdavis.edu or jsigala@ucdavis.edu).

I'd love a presentation from Lauren Springer Ogden.

I'd love to see a hands on demonstration of organic soil building or semi lecture format with handout and samples. Any guides or graphs would also be helpful.

Love the idea of Alice Waters as speaker. How about Tyler Florence: Food Network chef, Mill Valley shop owner, author, local parent, etc. with recipes re. children & vegetables.

Is there an overall theme to the Conference? I have ideas for speakers and presentations, but don't know if they fit with overall emphasis this year.
