The Conejo Valley Botanic Garden will hold a Matilija Poppy Festival on Sunday May 2, 2010 from 1-5 pm.

The event is free.

In addition to the beautiful flowers, there will be many activities for those in attendance:

• Children’s activity
• Harp music by Judy Reiter
• Matilija Poppy Watercolors, Artist Elizabeth J. Miller
• Plant sale at the Kids’ Adventure Garden
• Starter plants for children
• Informational programs

Informational programs include

• Garden Tours: meet at the nursery at 1:00, 1:30, 2:00
• All Star Garden: at 2:30
• Owls and More: at 3:30
