Our office occasionally receives questions related to winegrape production. We are happy to announce that UC Davis will be offering an intensive three-day course providing an in-depth, comprehensive study of winegrape production. Continuing education credits are available.
This short course will include lectures by county-based viticulture farm advisers and specialists within Cooperative Extension as well as by UCD campus-based faculty members of the Department of Viticulture and Enology.
Scheduled topics include:
- Physiology review
- Vineyard establishment
- Vineyard management
- Pest management
This event will be held in Freeborn Hall on the UC Davis campus March 1-3, 2011. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older to enroll and attend. For details and to register, please contact our office or click here.
