Balancing fine fuel management guidelines with recommended RDM may need to be addressed,.and I am sure it will.

On the surface this research seems plausible. However as a Fire Manager in Eastern Oregon who was also a Fire Behavior Analyst who spent a career on the ground looking at fire effects I am not seeing any data that would lead me to think this article is more than a hypothesis based on analysis of how much a cow might eat.

I am working on a project in Eastern Oregon monitoring RDM through time to look at how dormant season grazing can be used to reduce fuel load in targeted areas. Have you looked at any dormant season grazing?
