UC ANR academics may submit host applications to have a student work with them as part of the Summer Work Experience program. This program offers students a unique hands-on opportunity to work on projects related to natural resources, agriculture, climate change, and environmental and health policy.
No funding is required as UC ANR is providing funds to the Planetary Health Center of Expertise, part of the UC Global Health Institute, to support students for their Summer Work Experience Program.
Learn about the program through this 11-minute YouTube video https://youtu.be/8ZF3v76EwzU.
The "Host application" and details of the program are at https://ucghi.universityofcalifornia.edu/centers-of-expertise/planetary-health/call-applications-summer-work-experience. (Note: The host application appears halfway down the page.)
Applications will be accepted through March 18.
