Your topic brings back so many childhood memories of gathering bouquets of dandelions for my Mom. Needless to say, she was less than thrilled, but always put them in a little vase of water.

This answers the question my husband and I had when we saw all those cheery yellow blooms in the lawn: If these are dandelions, what about those white fly-away ones we also have been referring to as dandelions? It's the same plant! Now we know. Thanks, Lane!
