Hello all, at long last we've added a new specific question type to collect user email addresses. Please refrain from using the "short text field" and use the "Email" question type whenever you are collecting email addresses, it benefits us all in many ways:

1. It helps with spam - it specifically requires and email address, guiding the user into entering a proper one.
   
   
2. It also automatically populates the required Credit Card payment option setup. If you are familiar with setting up credit card surveys, you will see that there is a required email address field which will be setup for you.
   
   
3. Makes it simple for the excel data when you are ready to collect your survey results.

Please keep in mind that the "Email" question type only allows for one email at a time, further simplifying the process.
