When I started to take out my lawn several years ago I didn't know where to start. I'm a gardener not a landscaper. My idea of a landscape is if it lives it's good. Well, I needed a better plan than that. I found 3 landscape plans on the UC Davis Arboretum website.

This 10 x 10 foot landscape plan was developed by the UC Davis Arboretum. It's nice and compact. I have several of these plants in my garden. I have the Berberis, Ceanothus, Iris and Salvia in my garden. They are doing well and I think they can do well for you.
