Youth who are 9 years old by December 31 of the program year may join as Regular Members and continue in 4-H until December 31 of the year they turn 19.
How to Enroll — Step by Step
1. Choose a Club
First, look at the list of 4-H clubs in Contra Costa County and decide which club you want to join.
2. Contact the Club Leader
After you choose your club, contact the club leader to let them know you plan to join. They can tell you about meeting times and what projects the club offers.
3. Choose Your Projects
Talk with your club leader about the projects you are interested in. You can pick the activities that sound fun and meaningful to you.
4. Create a ZSuite Profile
ZSuite is our online enrollment system.
To enroll:
Use an email address you check regularly.
Create a family profile — all family members are grouped under one profile.
If a youth is under 18, a parent or guardian must log in to submit medical release forms.
5. Submit the Program Fee
The 2025–2026 youth enrollment fee is $150 per youth, paid online with a credit card.
Fee Waivers/Reductions are available. Complete the Enrollment Fee Survey.
