Ramos, Anne:
Description This frog species is about the size of your thumb. It shows up every year at the pond not far from my backyard in American Canyon. This wet year there is an abundance of frogs and I find them throughout my garden, in empty pots, in the bird food bin, and sometimes,in the morning, I find them sticking to my patio glass door. I have befriended them as they help my garden by eating bugs. I put out a shallow dish of water and tuck it away in a cool place for them, but they seem to wander through out the garden.
