Description

This profusely illustrated, 25-part tome about the biology and management of landscape palms was published from 2008 through 2014 in Western Arborist, the journal of the Western Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture. It covered such topics as biology, identification, selection, pests, diseases, nutrition, non-nutritional disorders, abnormalities, and pruning, and concluded with a key to pests, diseases, and disorders and a five part series on the genus Phoenix, the date palms. Also included here are articles about transplanting and palm weevils, which were not included in the 25-part series.
