- Joe McBride - Professor Emeritus UC Berkeley (in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning and in the Department of Environmental Science Policy and Management); His current research interests are focused on the implications of global climate change for the composition, structure, and function of urban forests in California. Specializations: forest ecology and urban forestry; landscape restoration; vegetation and ecological analysis.
- Van Butsic - Assistant Cooperative Extension Specialist and Adjunct Professor at UC Berkeley Department of Environmental Science Policy and Management; His research is focused on studying land, how people use it, what factors influence their decisions about use, and ultimately, how these decisions impact the environment. Specializations: Land systems science, conservation, environmental economics and policy, coupled human natural systems, GIS applications.
- Sheena Sidhu - Research Associate at University of California Cooperative Extension. Specializations: connecting issues related to supporting sustainable ecosystems and agriculture with sustainable communities through linking applied research directly with stakeholders.
